Requiem, A Realm Reborn and Nocturne

Since a bunch of you have been in contact about what's going on with FFXIV:ARR launch and Requiem I had a chat with Darte about what to do. While it is confirmed that Linkshell leadership can be changed at will we're not sure whether or not the leader (Awn) will be returning or not. In any case, Requiem as it stands should serve as a casual/social hub for all those who return - and so that those who return later have a home, we won't be dissolving the shell. But that's about as far as Requiem will go in ARR.
A long while ago Darte and I began discussing what to do with Requiem, the doubtless return of many of you who are on the fence for FFXIV:ARR and the pursuit of endgame.
In ARR there will be a 'greater' guild system known as "Free Companies" in place. While a player can hold numerous Linkpearls, one character may only have one active Free Company. A Free Company is entitled to a guild headquarters (part of the housing system (Darte is rich so he'll pay for it!)), player and guild perks among other things. Due to the benefits this gives us, we will be making a separate guild to serve as a "greater Requiem"; we're calling it Nocturne. We've got to pay some kind of homage, right?
You're all welcome to join us in Nocturne and tackle end-game head on. I imagine for those that did not push to Lv.50 when the game was terrible will be spending the first couple of weeks levelling up, but we'll be around to help in what ways we can.
