Darte and his Wise Cap.

Darte showing up to one of the most scary Nidhogg fights in my FFXI career, being the only healer (4 people; Awn, myself, Tomiki and Darte (showed up late after the pull) he ran infront of Nidhogg to get to the tank side to act as our primary healer and subsequently got hit with breath and died. Ceis came later and saved the day.

Awntawn and his pseudo-Optical Cap. No one really noticed it was a Fungus Hat until much later.

I remember my first Fafnir fight. It was about midnight in Australia and the rest of them wanted to hold the time back or something rather, so the fight lasted about 2.5 hours. I was under the impression that every goddamn fight would be like this. I did not want to see Fafnir again.
